For my first actual post….not counting the introduction, I want to leave a short film review and recommendation.
I watched Happy on Netflix the other night, and really think it is worth the 90 minutes or so. It is inspiring, and while there are stories that made me cry, it largely leaves you feeling, as the title implies, happy!
The documentary follows a few real people who are happy, talks to experts on the subject and suggests that all that we in the west think will buy happiness is false…which I agree with. Our quest for things and stuff generally leads to unhappiness and in a later post, I will discuss some ills and truly negative impacts all this stuff has.
For now, do yourself a favor and watch this documentary!
