I was thinking about this retort of #AllLivesMatter, why it is offensive, and why we have to remind people that certain groups actually DO matter, when literally speaking, "ALL" should include everyone. Unfortunately, the Founding Fathers tarnished the word "all." For all of their eloquence and their articulate words, they failed to use this one properly.
As consumers, we have power. I'm glad people are calling out Starbucks now, but how many of them will be drinking a PSL this fall? Every dollar you spend is pooled with everyone else's dollars. Collectively, consumers do have the power, but we must have the will too.
